The Red Station
If you are looking to stay somewhere convenient to the west entrance of Glacier National Park, this is the place for you! This is right off US Highway 2, the main highway to Glacier National Park. We have six cabins and three apartment style units at The Red Station that can each accommodate two people. We also have a 3-bedroom 2-bathroom house at the Red Station that accommodates up to eight total people. You will find everything clean, cozy and well appointed. The Red Station is walking distance to a bar, restaurants, zip lines, a distillery, and just down the road from a family fun center.
The Red Station has outdoor chairs and shared firepits to relax after a day hiking Glacier.
The property was painted red and named with a nod to the early history of Glacier National Park which is tied to the story of the Great Northern Railway. The railway helped promote legislation that established Glacier National Park in 1910. James J. Hill, president of the railroad, not only built a railroad, but he created an empire of towns and ranches along the tracks from St. Paul, Minnesota, to Seattle, Washington. This route today is still called the Empire Builder.
The railroad promoted travel to Glacier with the slogan “See America First.”

I’m in love with Montana. For other states I have admiration, respect, recognition, even some affection. But with Montana, it is love. And it’s difficult to analyze love when you’re in it.

This place was perfect for our visit to Glacier National Park. So cute, clean, and equipped with all things necessary for our stay. The kitchen was great for making breakfast everyday and we enjoyed coffee on the little porch in the morning. The location is just 10 minutes away from the entrance to the park. Highly recommend!!

We would recommend this cabin to anyone! It is so quaint & peaceful. We saw so much wildlife & truly were so conveniently located for when we wanted to venture to larger towns. The side by side Ranger rental is a must!!!! 10/10 best vacation we could have asked for. We had so much fun. And the beef we got on site? Such a nice plus! It was delicious.
